The Israeli attacks on the Baalbek-Hermel Governorate and the Middle Bekaa, far-reaching the town of Chtaura, have so far resulted in 282 fallen martyrs and 777 wounded, with air raids reaching 704 until midnight last Friday. The enemy has been recently focusing its bombing on civilian homes and deliberately committing massacres against their safe residents, as was the case in the city of Baalbek and many villages in the district, not to mention the destruction of buildings adjacent to international and main roads, to cut off or at least obstruct the connection between towns. Meanwhile, the pace of displacement remained on the rise to nearby towns that are still safe from targeting, including Deir al-Ahmar, Shlifa, Bteadei, Beshwat, Arsal, Ras Baalbek, al-Fakiha, Jboula, and the monasteries and buildings affiliated with the church and its endowments, in addition to the halls attached to mosques and Islamic endowments, as well as the houses that were opened to host fellow civilians.
