South sandwich islands: A 5.1 magnitude earthquake struck the South Sandwich Islands, a British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic Ocean. According to Oman News Agency, the US Geological Survey said that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 35 kilometers. No damage or casualties have been reported so far.
