At least five citizens were killed and others were injured on Friday in Israeli shelling of the cities of Khan Yunis and Rafah. In Khan Yunis, two citizens were killed and others were injured, as a result of the occupation forces' shelling of the Qizan Abu Rashwan area south of the city. At least one citizen was also killed and several others were injured as a result of the shelling of a house belonging to the Jadallah family in the Hawoz area in Khan Yunis camp. In Rafah, two young men were martyred as a result of shelling that targeted the city, and they were transferred to Nasser Medical Complex, while the occupation blew up houses near Al-Awda Mosque in the center of the city. The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 40,265 and the number of injuries to 93,144 since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Strip, while a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.
