Manama, Ali bin Al Shaikh Abdulhussain Al Asfoor, Northern Governor, during visits to Imam Al Redha Maatam in Malkiya, Al Qaem Maatam in A'ali, and Masjid Alzahraa (Al Zahraa Mosque) in Hamad Town, called for collaborative efforts to ensure the success of Ashoora. He emphasised that these efforts are crucial to preserving the gains of His Majesty the King's comprehensive development process, which promotes national unity and religious freedom. The Governor was accompanied by the Northern Governorate's Police Director-General, the Deputy Governor, a representative from Public Security Affairs, and a representative from the Jaafari Endowments Directorate. The Northern Governor conveyed the greetings of the Minister of Interior and his wishes for a successful Ashoora. He stressed the importance of maintaining the sanctity of the occasion within the framework of national principles, highlighting Ashoora's theme of "Ashoora of Morals and Ethics." During the visits, discussions were held with maatam heads to en sure the provision of services, security needs, and organisational preparations. The meeting also focused on arranging volunteers to implement precautionary measures to cope with the high temperatures in the Kingdom. The Director-General of Police for the Northern Governorate appreciated the cooperation between the governorate and the maatam heads. He noted that citizens play a crucial role in maintaining security and stability, reflecting the coexistence and tolerance witnessed in the Kingdom.
