Syria's Higher Judicial Elections Committee announced on Thursday results of People Assembly elections for the 4th legislative term, which took place on July 15th. 'The committee was keen to provide a democratic atmosphere by taking all necessary procedures to ensure freedom of voters and integrity of the elections', Head of the committee, Judge Jihad Murad announced the names of the candidates who won seats at the People's Assembly in a press conference at Justice Ministry headquarter. Judge Murad noted to the interaction of citizens and keenness to exercise their electoral right in choosing their representatives for membership in People Assembly. He went on saying that candidates who won possess scientific competencies, various experiences and social backgrounds, which enables the new assembly to perform its national role to the fullest.
