The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon on Tuesday announced in a statement, "In support of our resilient Palestinian people in Gaza and their valiant and honorable resistance, after monitoring and tracking Israeli forces in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, Islamic Resistance fighters ambushed an Israeli armored vehicle near the Roueisat Al-Alam site. Upon reaching the ambush point, the fighters targeted the vehicle with guided missiles, hitting it directly and destroying it, resulting in casualties among its crew." In another statement, Hezbollah declared, "At 11:30 am on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, our fighters targeted the Marj site with artillery shells, achieving a direct hit."
