Manama, His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar of Malaysia met with Dr. Waleed Khalifa Al Manea, Bahrain's Ambassador to Malaysia, at the Royal Palace (Istana Negara) in Kuala Lumpur. The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, along with their wishes for Malaysia's continued prosperity. His Majesty the King of Malaysia relayed his greetings to His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, wishing Bahrain further progress. During the meeting, the Ambassador emphasised the importance of consolidating the close relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, especially while celebrating the 50th anniversary of the official establishment of diplomatic relations on November 25, 1974.
