Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, participated in the coordination meeting of the GCC Foreign Ministers. The meeting was held during the ministers' participation in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, held in New York. The meeting covered a range of topics on related to international action agenda of UN General Assembly and the upcoming scheduled joint meetings between GCC states and various countries and regional blocs. The Ministers underlined their support for efforts that are exerted to tackle regional and international challenges and to resolve those issues in a peaceful manner. At the forefront of these issues is the Palestinian cause and the efforts to end the war in the Gaza Strip and containing current escalations which are taking place on several fronts. The foreign ministers underscored the commitment of GCC countries in backing dialogue, justice, international law and the application of the UN Charter in the resolution of conflicts.
