New York, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 79) in New York. The meeting took place during HRH's leadership of Bahrain's delegation on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Royal Highness highlighted the strength of relations between Bahrain and Jordan, noting that bilateral cooperation and coordination continue to flourish under the leadership of both His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised the importance of strengthening relations to achieve shared aspirations. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, wishing continued progress and prosperity for Jorda n and its citizens. In response, HM King Abdullah II conveyed his greetings to HM King Hamad. His Royal Highness affirmed the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing its strategic partnership with Jordan and expanding it to new levels of integration to meet common development goals.
