Manama, The 33rd edition of the Bahrain International Music Festival continues in October, presenting musical evenings that provide windows to learn about cultures and civilizations from around the world while promoting modern and traditional Bahraini art and music. The Bahrain National Theater will host a unique musical experience (Ya Najmat Suhail), on Saturday, October 12, led by Maestro Zeyad Zaiman of the Bahrain Music Band, that will take them back in time with the music of Bahraini artist Mohamed Abdulrahim. The Bahrain International Music Festival presented several events that celebrated Bahraini musical creativity since its launch at the beginning of the month, starting with the Bahrain National Theater, which hosted the Bahrain Philharmonic Orchestra led by Maestro Mubarak Najem in the (Gulf of Songs) concert. The festival also presented the rising Bahraini talent, pianist Noor Al Qassim, collaborating with the Italian Orchestra Filarmonica del Mediterraneo in the (Waves from the Mediterranean to the Arabian Gulf) concert. The Folk Arts Troupe also attended the festival, confirming its importance as part of the intangible cultural heritage of the Kingdom. The Qalali Folk Band presented an evening at Dar Al Muharraq, while the Dar Bin Harban Band in Muharraq hosted an evening.
