Suwon: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Education, participated in the UNESCO International Forum on the Futures of Education 2024, held in Suwon, the Republic of Korea, concluding on 4 December 2024. The event served as a platform for global dialogue, focusing on the future of education and its role in building a more equitable and sustainable society. According to Oman News Agency, the Omani delegation was led by Amna Salim Al Balushi, the Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to UNESCO. The forum sought to inspire the international community and stakeholders in education to renew the social contract for education, aiming for a just and sustainable future. The participation of Oman underscores its commitment to global educational initiatives and partnerships.
