Muscat: Acting in cooperation with the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit, Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) today launched the developmental round of its strategic approach. The step reflects OCCI's commitment to enhance the business environment and achieve integrated economic growth. According to Oman News Agency, representatives of 20 government institutions and private sector establishments are taking part in the three-day session, which highlights OCCI's approach to serve the private sector. The approach focuses on three main pillars: improving the business environment, consolidating partnership in governorates' economic development, and expanding the base of economic diversification. Through these pillars, the OCCI seeks to establish clear mechanisms for implementing its initiatives and projects according through well-studied plans. The session was attended by Faisal Abdullah Al Rowas, Chairman of OCCI Board of Directors, heads of committees from the sectors and authorities concerned, an elite group of experts, business owners, and specialists in the field.
