People in Gaza Endured Unimaginable Suffering: UN Official

Gaza: People in Gaza have endured unimaginable suffering, stated the United Nations Humanitarian Coordinator for the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Muhannad Hadi. His comments come in response to the Israeli occupation's resumption of aggression on the Gaza Strip early this morning.

According to Oman News Agency, Hadi expressed deep concern over the situation, describing it as "unconscionable" and emphasized the urgent need for a ceasefire to be reinstated immediately. He highlighted that the continuation of hostilities exacerbates the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.

Hadi further stated that an end to hostilities, the provision of sustained humanitarian assistance, the release of hostages, and the restoration of basic services and livelihoods are crucial steps forward. The ongoing conflict has already resulted in the deaths of over 250 Palestinians and has left hundreds more injured.

The remarks by the UN official underline the critical need for international intervention to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and restore peace and stability in the region.
