Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) today gained 5.6 points, comprising a rise by 0.13% to close at 4275.97 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 4270.39 points.

According to Oman News Agency, the trading value today stood at RO 5,608,388, comprising a drop by 24.8%, compared to the last session, which stood at RO 7,457,648. The report released by MSX pointed out that the market value went down by 0.042% to reach about RO 27.21 billion.

The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 360,000, comprising 6.42%. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 138,000, comprising 2.46%. The net non-Omani investment increased by 3.95% to RO 222,000.
