Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received a phone call from Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to Oman News Agency, the discussion centered on the latest developments in the region, with a particular focus on the talks hosted by the Sultanate of Oman between the United States of America (USA) and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed the UAE’s appreciation for Oman’s role and efforts in creating an environment conducive to understanding and confidence-building among the parties, which could enhance regional and global security and peace.
Sayyid Badr acknowledged the UAE’s support for Oman’s initiatives aimed at promoting conciliation and peace to reinforce regional and global stability and security.
