Salalah: Dhofar University today began the second international conference of its Department of Arabic Language and Literature, themed "Fear in Language, Literature and Culture". The two-day conference aims to explore the human dimensions of fear and related cultural issues.

According to Oman News Agency, the conference includes several sessions and working papers presented by academics, researchers, and those interested in humanities from Omani, GCC, regional, and international universities. The papers address the concept of fear within the context of language, identity, and creativity.
