Muscat: Oman Film Society participated in the Arab Film Festival in South Korea, showcasing two Omani films: 'Al-Manjour' by director Mohammed Abdullah Al Ajmi and 'You Won't Sink Alone' by director Fahd Ramadan Al Maimani. The event, organized by the Korea-Arab Society, marked its 14th edition with the participation of 12 Arab countries. According to Oman News Agency, the films were screened in several Korean cities, including the capital Seoul at the Momo Art House, Busan at the Busan Cinema Center, and Gwangju at the Asia Culture Center. Additionally, they were made available for digital streaming on Korea's Naver TV platform, broadening access for audiences interested in Arab cinema. This participation aligns with the Oman Film Society's efforts to strengthen the presence of Omani cinema in international forums, highlighting national productions that reflect Omani societal identity and present stories with cultural and humanitarian depth. This participation reflects Oman Film Society's vision of suppor ting Omani filmmakers and bringing their work to international audiences through platforms that celebrate artistic diversity and cultural exchange.
