Ibra: The Environment Authority in Ibra and Sinaw, North A'Sharqiyah Governorate, has today launched an environmental initiative titled "Your Home Turns Green, Your Nation Blooms." This initiative aims to distribute numerous agricultural seedlings for planting to support national efforts to expand tree cover and green spaces across the Sultanate of Oman.

According to Oman News Agency, Yousuf Ahmed Al Harthy, an Environmental Supervision Specialist at the Environment Department in North A'Sharqiyah Governorate, stated that the three-day campaign involves distributing a number of wild seedlings and ornamental trees. This effort is in cooperation with various public sector institutions in Ibra and Sinaw.

The environmental initiative focuses on raising ecological awareness and supporting a national campaign to plant 10 million trees. The campaign includes distributing hundreds of wild and local seedlings, such as Sidr, Ghaf, Talh, and Moringa trees, along with ornamental plants. The aim is to encourage community members to engage in gardening, self-cultivation, and participate in preserving vegetation and combating desertification.
