Winners of Quran Competition in South A’Sharqiyah Honored

Kumzar: The Department of Endowments and Religious Affairs in the Wilayat of Sur, South A'Sharqiyah Governorate, celebrated today the honoring of the winners of the first edition of the Quran Competition for Religious Cadres.

According to Oman News Agency, the ceremony was held under the auspices of Ahmed Saleh al Rashdi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs. The event featured a vocal performance and a visual presentation detailing the competition's progress through its various stages.

Nasser Ali al Busaidi, Director of the Department of Endowments and Religious Affairs in South A'Sharqiyah, highlighted the significance of this inaugural edition for religious staff due to its connection to the Holy Book, emphasizing that the competition is more than a contest; it is a means of spiritual cultivation and heart purification.

The competition saw participants from across the governorate's wilayats. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the chief guest presented awards to the winners.
