Muscat: The first-leg matches of the semi-finals of His Majesty the Sultan's Football Cup for the 2025/2026 sports season kick off this evening. According to Oman News Agency, Oman Club will face Al Nasr Club at 5:00 PM at the A'Seeb Stadium. Later in the evening, A'Seeb Club will compete against Al Nahda Club at 8:15 PM at the same venue. The return-leg matches are scheduled for Thursday, 29 January. Al Nahda will host A'Seeb at 5:20 PM at the Al Buraimi Sports Complex, while Oman Club will meet Al Nasr at 8:30 PM at the Al Saada Sports Complex. The four teams secured their semi-final spots through decisive victories in the quarter-finals. Al Nasr advanced by defeating Sohar with a 1-0 aggregate score, and A'Seeb moved forward after a 6-4 aggregate win against Saham. Oman Club reached the semi-finals by overcoming Dhofar with a 1-0 aggregate, while Al Nahda earned its place in the "Golden Square" with a 6-2 aggregate triumph over Sur.
