Muscat: The National Defence College today held a ceremony to mark the conclusion of its symposium titled "Youth and National Decision-Making: From Empowerment to Impact."

According to Oman News Agency, the ceremony was held under the auspices of retired Air Vice Marshal Talib Miran Al Raisi, with the presence of Maj. Gen Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy of Strategic and Defence Studies. The symposium reviewed initiatives and recommendations of participants in the 13th course of the National Defence College.

The event saw participation from consultants and stakeholders across both the public and private sectors. The symposium, which commenced on 19 February 2025, focused on analyses, discussions, and dialogue regarding various skills necessary for youth empowerment.

The closing ceremony was attended by senior officers, board members of the National Defence College, and participants in the 13th course of the College.
