A'dhahirah: Twelve agreements were awarded today for the implementation of social investment projects in A'Dhahirah Governorate. The projects, which cost about RO 1.5 million, are part of initiatives undertaken by Minerals Development Oman in the wilayats of Ibri and Yanqul. According to Oman News Agency, the agreements aim to boost community partnerships and support sustainable development in the concession areas. They deal with the implementation of projects in the fields of education, innovation, socio-economic prosperity, environment protection, and health. The agreements signing ceremony was held under the auspices of Tahir bin Mabkhout Al Junaibi, Governor of A'Dhahirah. The agreements also include the establishment of a walkway, the implementation of initiatives for the empowerment of household businesses, paving internal roads, boosting street lighting infrastructure, and implementing programmes to raise the awareness of school students about earth sciences and mining. The agreements embody the in tegration of roles between the public and private sectors with the prime aim of supporting local development and improving the quality of life.
