Minsk: The Omani trade delegation, currently visiting Minsk, the Republic of Belarus, today discussed means of enhancing economic, trade and investment cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Belarus. The delegation also reviewed available opportunities to develop partnerships between the private sectors of both countries, in a manner that supports the growth of bilateral relations and serves mutual interests. According to Oman News Agency, this came during a meeting between Faisal Abdullah Al Rowas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) head of the delegation, and Maksim Ryzhenkov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus. Al Rowas also met with Mikalai Barysevich, Director General of the Belarusian National Export Promotion Centre. The meeting reviewed opportunities to enhance cooperation between the business communities of the two countries. It also touched on some initiatives aimed at supporting trade and investment flows and expanding the areas of economic partnership between the two nations. The meetings were attended by several members of the OCCI Board of Directors.
