Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) Band has achieved significant success at the World Music Competition currently underway in Scotland, United Kingdom.
According to Oman News Agency, the RAFO band excelled by securing overall first place in Category 4B of the 'Dundonald' and 'Bridge of Allen' competitions, as well as an overall second place in Category 4A. The band's percussion group notably won first place at the 'Dundonald' competitions, along with an award for best military appearance at the general level.
In the 'Bridge of Allan' competitions, the RAFO band achieved second overall place in the infantry and military appearance categories among non-UK contestants.
