Nakhal: The development project for Nakhal Promenade in South Al Batinah Governorate has reached approximately 90 percent completion as part of its second phase. The project is being implemented by the Municipality of South Al Batinah with the aim of transforming it into an integrated sports and recreational destination. According to Oman News Agency, the project entails the construction of fully equipped pedestrian pathways, including a paved walkway, landscaped green areas, and five family seating zones strategically distributed according to an architectural design that ensures comfort and optimizes the utilization of the site. The project is being carried out as part of the governorate's ongoing efforts to elevate the urban landscape, enhance quality of life, and provide comprehensive public facilities that cater to the needs of various community segments, in alignment with the objectives of sustainable urban development. The project also features the construction of a number of recreational and service amenities, including an open-air theater for hosting events and community activities, a children's play area, a sports zone, decorative fountains, an aesthetic archway, and a dedicated photography corner, in addition to commercial kiosks and restroom facilities-offering a holistic experience for promenade visitors.
