Buenos aires: Boca Juniors played out a 1-1 draw with visitors V©lez Sarsfield today in the fourth-round fixtures of Group A in the Argentine Primera Divisi³n.
According to Oman News Agency, V©lez Sarsfield extended their tally to ten points, maintaining top spot in the group, while Boca Juniors moved to five points, placing sixth. V©lez Sarsfield took the lead in the 12th minute through Diego Vald©s, with Boca Juniors levelling the score in the 39th minute via Santiago Ascacbar.
In other Group A action, Instituto defeated visiting Gimnasia y Esgrima 1-0. Instituto's lone goal came from Alex Luna in the 80th minute. The result lifts Instituto to nine points, securing second place in the group, while Gimnasia y Esgrima remain on six points in fourth position.
In another group fixture, Platense claimed a 1-0 away victory over Independiente. The decisive goal was netted by Guido Mainero in the 65th minute. Platense now have four points, moving up to tenth place, while Independiente stay on six points in fourth.
