Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange "MSX 30" index today closed at 7,508.77 points, marking a rise of 27.1 points, or 0.36 percent, from the previous session's close of 7,481.70 points.
According to Oman News Agency, the trading value stood at RO 52,314,843, showing an increase of 20 percent from the RO 43,597,987 recorded in the last session. This upward trend in trading value reflects a positive market sentiment.
Moreover, the market capitalization witnessed a growth of 0.213 percent from the previous trading day, reaching approximately RO 38.19 billion. This increase indicates a strengthening in the market's overall value.
Non-Omani investors were active participants, with purchases amounting to RO 3.826 million, which constituted 7.31 percent of the total trading value. However, their sales were higher, reaching RO 4.539 million, or 8.68 percent. As a result, net non-Omani investment decreased by RO 713 thousand, or 1.36 percent, reflecting a cautious approach by foreign investors.
