Muscat: Italian Serie A champions Inter Milan have secured the signing of English international defender Jed Spence from Tottenham Hotspur on a deal that runs through 30 June 2031. According to Oman News Agency, Spence originally joined Tottenham in 2022 and brings prior experience in Italian football, having spent six months on loan at Genoa between January and June 2024. The 24-year-old now becomes the second English international to join the Nerazzurri in the space of a fortnight. John Stones, who departed Manchester City at the end of July after a decade-long spell with the club, also made the switch to the Italian side recently. The addition of Spence is part of Inter Milan's strategy to strengthen their defensive lineup ahead of the upcoming season.
