Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange "MSX 30" index today closed at 7,549.80 points, marking an increase of 9 points, or 0.12 percent, from the previous session's close of 7,540.83 points.
According to Oman News Agency, the trading value on the Muscat Stock Exchange stood at RO 50,277,110. This represents a rise of 18.3 percent from the RO 61,562,805 recorded in the last session. The report indicates a positive movement in market capitalization as well, which increased by 0.053% from the previous trading day to approximately RO 38.34 billion.
Non-Omani investors were active in the market, recording purchases worth RO 6.087 million, which accounted for 12.11 percent of the total trading value. However, their sales reached RO 7.249 million, or 14.42 percent, leading to a decrease in net non-Omani investment by RO 1.161 million, or 2.31 percent.
