Muscat: The MSX 30 index of the Muscat Stock Exchange closed today at 7,502.53 points, seeing a marginal increase of 1.5 points, or 0.02 percent, from the previous trading session's close of 7,501.05 points.
According to Oman News Agency, the total value of trading on the exchange reached RO 23,070,136. This marks an increase of 15.3 percent compared to the previous session's figure of RO 20,008,791. Furthermore, market capitalization experienced a rise of 0.050 percent from the last trading day, reaching approximately RO 38.26 billion.
Non-Omani participation on the exchange was notable, with buying activities amounting to RO 3,193,000, which represents 13.84 percent of the total trading value. On the other hand, non-Omani selling totaled RO 3,316,000, accounting for 14.37 percent of the trading value. This led to a decline in net non-Omani investment by RO 123,000, or 0.53 percent.
