Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a cable of thanks from the participants in the 20th General Conference of the Arab Towns Organization and the 64th Executive Council, which took place in the Wilayat of Salalah, Dhofar Governorate, from September 7 to 8, 2026.
According to Oman News Agency, the cable was sent following the conclusion of the conference titled "More Innovative and Sustainable Cities". The participants conveyed their deep appreciation and gratitude to the Sultanate of Oman for hosting the event, highlighting the generous hospitality and warm welcome they received. They praised Oman's efforts in promoting the development and humanization of cities to enhance the quality of life.
The participants concluded their message by praying to Almighty Allah to protect His Majesty the Sultan as an inspiring leader, and to bless the Sultanate of Oman with continued progress and prosperity.
