Li-Ning Star Cycling Team Crowned Champions of Tour of Salalah

Salalah: Australian cyclist Cameron Scott won the 4th and final stage of the Tour of Salalah cycling race, while the Li-Ning Star Cycling Team claimed the overall title of the 6th edition of the Tour of Salalah. The event was organized by Dhofar Municipality in cooperation with Oman Cycling Association from 5 to 9 September 2026.

According to Oman News Agency, the 4th stage started in front of Taqah Castle, passed by Darbat Waterfalls and concluded at Khor Rori port city, covering a distance of 106 kilometres. The race saw the participation of 95 cyclists representing 16 regional and international teams.

The Tour of Salalah aims to showcase the natural and cultural assets of Dhofar Governorate and consolidate the Sultanate of Oman's presence on the global cycling map and the country's ability to organize races accredited by the International Cycling Union (UCI). The event also seeks to develop the skills of Omani cyclists, discover young talents, elevate the technical standard of the sport and promote health awareness.
