Muscat: Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, today held a meeting with Jonathan Burke, Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Treasury for Counter Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes. The two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the United States of America. They discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two countries on various issues of common interest. The meeting also touched on current regional developments. According to Oman News Agency, the meeting was attended by the U.S. Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman and officials from the two countries.
