Muscat: The 5th edition of the food and hospitality exhibition (HORECA Oman) kicked off today at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. The three-day event features over 200 exhibitors representing more than 1,500 local and international brands. The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Hamoud bin Qais Al Said.
According to Oman News Agency, the exhibition seeks to showcase the latest products, services, technologies, and solutions related to food and beverages, hotel and kitchen equipment, as well as the design and operation of hospitality outlets. The event offers a comprehensive overview of the innovations and trends shaping the sector.
Salim bin Omar Al Hashmi, CEO of Al Nimr Expo, stated that the exhibition supports the development of the hospitality sector by bringing together professionals, innovators, and emerging talents. He highlighted that this collaboration helps enhance the sector's capabilities and consolidates the Sultanate of Oman's position as a progressive destination for investment and growth in hospitality activities.
Al Hashmi further noted that the exhibition serves as a platform for exchanging knowledge and expertise in food and hospitality fields. It attracts leading industry figures to discuss key issues, opportunities, and challenges relevant to Oman and the region, with an emphasis on developing practical insights and the sharing of experience.
