A’Dakhiliyah Municipal Council Discusses Key Development Initiatives

A'dakhiliyah: The Municipal Council of A'Dakhiliyah Governorate convened to deliberate on several planning, service, and investment topics aimed at addressing the needs of the governorate's wilayats and enhancing public facilities, community services, and traffic safety.

According to Oman News Agency, the Council underscored the significance of selecting the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar as the Capital of Gulf Tourism for 2027. The Council called for coordinated efforts to boost the wilayat's preparedness, enhance tourism activities, improve services, and support small and medium enterprises (SMEs), craftspeople, and productive families. Additionally, the Council reviewed the recommendations implemented from the previous meeting's minutes.

In the Wilayat of Nizwa, discussions focused on the approval of the Al Aqiq walkway route and the establishment of a park in the Ghaf Al Shaikh and Al Jul areas. Meanwhile, in the Wilayat of Bahla, the Council explored the creation and allocation of sites for investment, service, and residential purposes, including an apiary, a poultry production project, horse stables, residential layouts, an Eid prayer ground, and an equestrian track.

The meeting was chaired by Yasser Fadhil Al Muharbi, Deputy Chairman of the Council, and attended by members and representatives of relevant government entities.
