Khasab:Musandam: The Municipal Council of Musandam Governorate convened its 7th meeting of 2026, led by Sayyid Faisal bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, the Governor of Musandam.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting focused on several key issues related to domestic development and public services. Central topics included the concepts of sustainability and efficiency, with a significant emphasis on establishing an integrated tourist port in the Wilayat of Khasab.
The Council also explored proposals aimed at supporting the tourism sector in Musandam in light of regional developments. Additionally, they addressed concerns regarding beach erosion at Bassa Beach in the Wilayat of Khasab and discussed various development needs in the Wilayat of Daba.
Coordination with relevant government departments was also highlighted as a crucial aspect of addressing these issues effectively.
