Muscat:Dr. Nasser Rashid Al Maawali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, met with a British parliamentary delegation led by Emily Thornberry, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the British House of Commons, during their visit to Oman.
According to Oman News Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Oman and the United Kingdom. They explored ways to enhance economic cooperation and exchange expertise in areas of mutual interest, aligning with the mutual goals of both countries.
The meeting also examined Oman's development strategies under "Oman Vision 2040," emphasizing economic diversification priorities, opportunities for expanding partnerships in key sectors, and the importance of institutional communication in advancing bilateral cooperation.
