Manila:Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, met with Dr. Géza Andreas von Geyr, State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, to explore areas of cooperation between Oman and Germany.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations, with an emphasis on expanding cooperation in various sectors. Germany expressed interest in diversifying existing areas of collaboration and encouraging its private sector to pursue opportunities in Oman. Additionally, discussions covered regional tensions and issues of mutual concern, with Germany acknowledging Oman's efforts in mediation and de-escalation.
The meeting was attended by Yousef bin Ahmed Al Jabri and Monika Iwersen, the German Ambassador to Oman.
