Tubas - Ma'an - A young man was killed by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire on Tuesday evening in the northern Jordan Valley. A security source reported that the occupation forces opened fire at a young man in the Atouf plain, east of Tamoun, south of the city of Tubas, wounding him. The spokesman for the occupation army explained that members of Unit 636 killed a Palestinian youth in the Jordan Valley area, claiming that he intended to carry out a shooting operation. The spokesman claimed that his forces initiated operational activity to assassinate the Palestinian, claiming that he planned to carry out a shooting operation near the "Bakaot" settlement near Tubas in the northern Palestinian Jordan Valley. The occupation forces were deployed in the Atouf plain and among the citizens' farms, noting that the occupation vehicles are stationed most days at the Atouf gate. Source: Maan News Agency
