A'rustaq: The activities of the "A'Rustaq from Bird's-eye View" exhibition began today in the Wilayat of A'Rustaq, South Al Batinah Governorate. Organized by the A'Rustaq Arts Team of the A'Rustaq Sports Club in cooperation with the Office of the Wali of A'Rustaq, the exhibition will continue until 11 July.
According to Oman News Agency, the opening of the exhibition was held under the auspices of Dr. Yahya Suleiman Al Nadabi, Wali of A'Rustaq. The exhibition serves as the first stop of the Barzah Forum 2026 - Rustaq Visual Arts Forum. It features the participation of 10 photographers presenting 40 artworks that document the Wilayat of A'Rustaq from an aerial perspective, highlighting its natural assets, historical landmarks, and urban architecture in an artistic vision that reflects the place's beauty and diversity.
The exhibition aims to enhance the artistic and cultural movement in the wilayat and highlight the visual identity of A'Rustaq by utilizing the art of photography to document its features and cultural heritage. It also encourages national talents and provides a platform to display their works to the public.
The exhibition is the first in a series of events for the A'Rustaq Visual Arts Forum, which extends until the end of the current year. The forum includes a series of exhibitions and cultural and artistic events, most notably the "A'Rustaq and Art Exhibition" next September and the "A'Rustaq Through Time Exhibition" in November, focusing on the historical and heritage aspects with which the wilayat abounds.
