Ramallah - Ma'an - Minister Alaa Al-Tamimi, Chairman of the Land Authority, accompanied by directors of technical general departments and support departments, received today, Monday, in his office in the city of Al-Bireh, Minister of Local Government Eng. Sami Hijjawi and his accompanying delegation. Al-Tamimi began the meeting by welcoming the guests, and praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Local Government as partners in a number of common files and issues, and expressed his hope to increase the horizon of cooperation between the Land Authority and local government teams in the near future. During the meeting, many issues were discussed, the most prominent of which were the challenges and problems facing the Land Authority and the Ministry of Local Government teams with the municipalities, especially the issue of building numbering. The two parties also discussed allocating lands belonging to state property for the public benefit of citizens. For his part, the Minister of Local Government, Eng. S ami Hijjawi, stressed the pioneering role of the Land Authority in preserving citizens' real estate rights, its tireless efforts to improve service, and its important role in confronting the occupation's measures in various regions. The two parties stressed the need to continue and expand the horizon of cooperation, for the supreme goal of serving citizens, especially during this difficult stage that our people are going through.
