Washington, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Bahraini Ambassador to Mexico, residing in Washington, met with the President of the Arab Mexican Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CAMIC), Yemile Mariana Tuma during his official visit to Mexico. The Ambassador stressed Bahrain's global status as a gateway to regional markets and an attractive destination for investment and trade in the region. He also underlined the commitment of the Kingdom to promote advanced technology industries and high-tech industries, calling for further cooperation to develop trade, technical, and economic opportunities that support the strengthening of bilateral relations and meet the aspirations of the two countries. Chamber members praised the trade cooperation between the two countries and expressed their desire to promote promising investment opportunities in both countries. He also met with the Director-General of the Mexican Business Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology (COMCE), Susana Duque, to discuss opportunities for bilateral cooperation between Bahrain and Mexico to promote trade ties. He highlighted the success of the Bahrain Aluminum Company (Alba) in producing and trading aluminum at the global level, in light of the support of the Kingdom for various vital economic sectors, especially industry, transport, and logistics.
