Muscat: The Ministry of Interior has announced the timeframe for submitting candidacy applications for the Fourth Term Municipal Council elections, which will be held from Sunday, 5 April until Thursday, 23 April 2026. The decision also includes a deadline for withdrawing submitted applications, set for Thursday, 29 October 2026. According to Oman News Agency, the Ministry is inviting eligible individuals who meet the criteria for Municipal Council membership to submit their applications through the official election website at elections.om. Interested candidates are required to complete the electronic form provided and submit all necessary supporting documentation via the portal as part of the formal application process.
