Lebanese Army Commander General Joseph Aoun, on Wednesday received at his Yarzeh office, MPs Mohammed Suleiman and Ahmed Rustom, with whom he discussed the general situation in the country. The army commander later received Head of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Delegation for Lebanon, Simone Aeschlimann, and an accompanying delegation. The discussion reportedly touched on ways of cooperation between the two sides. The Army Commander signed a cooperation agreement with the head of the mission, which includes providing technical support in the field of DNA sample collection and preservation.
