Arrest of a Syrian accused of working for Israel in Lebanon

The Lebanese authorities arrested a Syrian national accused of working for Israel, according to what the Lebanese News Agency reported, shortly before midnight on Thursday. On Thursday evening, an Israeli aggression targeted the Ras al-Nabaa and al-Nuwairi areas outside the southern suburbs and in the center of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded. Israeli reports indicated that the target was the head of internal security and a leader in Hezbollah and the husband of Hassan Nasrallah's sister, Wafiq Safa, while a l eader in Hezbollah announced the failure of the assassination attempt and Safa's survival.
