Manila:An exhibition organized by Al Noor Association for the Blind, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development, showcased technologies designed to assist visually impaired individuals.
According to Oman News Agency, the event highlighted the importance of these assistive devices and systems in promoting independence and enabling visually impaired people to engage in social activities.
The exhibition was part of the observance of International White Cane Day, celebrated annually on October 15 to honor the achievements of blind and visually impaired individuals and to recognize the white cane as a symbol of independence, dignity, and freedom of movement.
