Muscat: The Board of Directors of Athar Health Endowment Foundation convened its second meeting for the year 2025 today under the chairmanship of Dr. Hilal Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board. The meeting focused on several key agenda items crucial for the foundation's operations and future plans.

According to Oman News Agency, the board approved the minutes from the first board meeting of 2025 and followed up on the implementation of recommendations made in previous meetings. The ongoing projects of the foundation for the current year were reviewed, ensuring that they are on track and aligned with the foundation's objectives. Additionally, an external audit report for the year 2024 was examined and discussed by the board members.

The meeting further evaluated the performance of the foundation's digital platforms, focusing on the effectiveness of donation amounts collected through the "Friends of Athar" platform, donation devices, and other electronic channels. Furthermore, a financial report for the first half of 2025 was reviewed to assess the foundation's financial health and ensure transparency and accountability in its financial dealings.
