BAHAA HARIRI: SUNNI SECT IS THE ORIGIN OF MODERATION, WE WILL MAINTAIN THIS PATH THROUGH OUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE OTHER DESPITE THE DIFFERENCES

Bahaa Rafik Hariri affirmed that it is impossible for him to cooperate with the corrupt political class in Lebanon, in wake of its proven deficiency in presenting any rescue project for the country. He added that the recent parliamentary elections did not yield any achievement or change at all levels. Speaking to a large number of northern delegations and activists, Hariri considered that the Sunni sect is the origin of moderation in the country, pledging to 'remain on this path through acceptance of the other despite the differences, without giving up our rights." He went on to affirm that he loves and holds his brother, Saad (former Lebanese Prime Minister), dear to his heart, but deemed his joining of the 'quadripartite alliance' as the beginning of the problem...He considered that such a step does not represent the path of their late father, martyr Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, during whose term the country was doing well, as he indicated. Hariri revealed that part of his reform project is to raise the educational level in the public and private sectors in Lebanon, stressing his 'determination to launch advanced and unconventional projects that contribute to the fight against corruption and serve the Lebanese citizen in completing transactions remotely.' He reiterated his plans to launch economic, industrial and agricultural projects, particularly projects that the northern region mainly depends on and which will provide job opportunities for young graduates. Referring to the recent presidential elections in the Iranian Islamic Republic, Hariri considered that we seem to be on the verge of witnessing radical change in Iran, demonstrated through the victory of the moderate team in the elections and the arrival of a new reformist president for Iran.
