Manama, Yousif Abdullah Hamoud, Undersecretary for Financial Affairs at the Ministry of Finance and National Economy, led Bahrain's delegation at the sixth meeting of the Permanent Preparatory Committee at the ministerial level for the Economic and Development Affairs Authority of the GCC, held in Qatar. The agenda included discussions on key topics aimed at strengthening cooperation among GCC countries, such as the governance of joint economic and development efforts, the progress of the customs union and the Gulf Common Market, and initiatives related to the economic integration of GCC states. The meeting also reviewed major economic indicators within the GCC and addressed priority economic and development projects and programmes shared by the member states. Source: Bahrain News Agency
