Cairo, MP Ahmed Abdulwahed Qaratah, Second Deputy Speaker will lead Bahrain's delegation to participate in the 35th extraordinary session of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union's Executive Committee. The meeting will focus on recent developments in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories and discuss a proposed urgent agenda item for the 149th General Assembly. Additionally, the session will review strategies for strengthening the role and activities of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, as well as plans for the 2025 budget. MP Qaratah highlighted the importance of the meeting in advancing joint Arab parliamentary efforts, reaffirming Bahrain's commitment to supporting stability and development through continuous legislative reforms.
